Tree wise is for 14-16 year old young people who are not attending mainstream schooling.

Tir Coed

Working the woods is a work-based training opportunity for young people aged 16-19 who are not in education, employment or training.

Music Wales Complete Control Music

Complete Control Music is for 14-19 year old young people who are interested in music, you will be paired with a mentor who have worked professionally within the music industry who will support you through the programme.

SNAP - Respect Programme

The Respect programme is for young people aged 14-19, the programme will train young people how to respect each other’s feelings and include disabilities into everything you do. You can also learn how to become a peer educator and deliver this programme yourselves.

Develop A Youth Forum - OCN Level 1

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in becoming members of a youth forum or committee. They can gain an understanding of the need for effective communication, team work and co-operation within the structure of a forum/committee.

DJ - OCN Level 1

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in DJ skills and mixing. It will give the participant an understanding of the equipment, how to mix a record/ CD successfully and the laws relating to putting on a performance.

Taster Course in Photography

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in photography. They will learn basics about cameras and produce a simple portfolio of work.

Introduction to Camp Craft Skills

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in learning about camp craft skills such as pitching a tent, cooking a meal outdoors and the correct usage of a rucksack. This OCN can be very useful if you're thinking of doing your Duke of Edinburgh Award or are just interested in camping.

Introduction to Pottery

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in learning about pottery. They will learn to identify different materials and tools used in the workshop and how to use them safely.

Stencilling Techniques

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in learning about stencilling techniques, how to identify an appropriate design that can be used, how to cut out the stencil and how to apply the stencil to a appropriate surface.

Taster Course in Outdoor Activities

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in doing a taster course on outdoor activities. It will give the young person a chance to experience different activities.

Planning an Event

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in planning an event.

Website Design

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in learning about website design. It covers the basics of web design such as what makes a good web site, how to plan a web site, how to format web pages and how to create a simple web site.

Citizenship

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in learning about citizenship, what it means as an individual and gain an understanding of the importance of being an active citizen

First Aid

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in gaining knowledge of basic first aid including resuscitation and wound dressing and accessing the need to call the emergency services

Senior Member Training

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in gaining knowledge about becoming an active member of their youth club. The course is designed to offer the young person the skills that will enable them to become a junior leader and help in the general running of the youth club or project

Babysitting Skills

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in doing babysitting and gaining knowledge in looking after babies and young children. This course will also include a first aid certificate from the Red Cross for babies and small children

Using the Internet

This OCN is designed for young people who are interested in learning about using the internet.

The Duke of Edinburgh Award

By undertaking the award either Bronze, Silver or Gold, the young person aged 14 – 25 will have the opportunity to help people or the community, get fitter, develop skills, go on an expedition and take part in a residential activity (Gold only).

Certificate in Developing Awareness and Communication with Deaf and Deafblind People

The course is awarded by Signature and is designed to give learners an introduction to and basic knowledge of the whole range of D/deaf and deafblind people i.e. deaf, deafened, deafblind, hard of hearing, Deaf BSL users, Deaf visually impaired, blind hearing impaired and people with congenital deafblindness). It assumes no previous experience or knowledge.

The Prince's Trust : Team Programme

The TEAM programme is 12 week personal development course for 16 - 25 year old young people who are not in education, employment or training.

Playwork Principles into Practice

5 day course on how to work with children and young people in a play environment, mainly outside and with activities that include lots of risk and challenge.

Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership (SL)

Level 1 Award in Sports Leadership is a nationally recognised qualification that enables successful candidates to lead small groups in simple sports and recreational activities whilst under the direct supervision of their tutor.

EVS (European Voluntary Service)

EVS is for young adults aged 18-30 who are willing to give 6-12 months to full-time volunteering in another EU country.
